Creator Program Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
This policy explains what we do with your information when you apply to or take part in the Joyee Nails Creator Program. It covers creators only. If you are shopping with us as a customer, our store privacy policy applies to that instead.
The program is run by JoyeeLab LLC, 75 E 3rd St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, which is the data controller for the information described here. For anything in this policy, write to collab@joyeenails.com.
1. What we collect
When you apply
Your name, email address, password, country, the social handles you give us, where most of your audience is, and your audience size. You also tell us whether you have bought from us before.
While you take part
Your referral link and discount code, the clicks and orders attributed to you, the commission you earn, and any notes or messages between us. You can also add a profile photo and further social handles in your dashboard if you want to.
When we pay you
The email address we send your reward to. If you choose a store gift card, the gift card code issued to you. We do not collect or store your bank account details, card numbers, or PayPal password at any point.
Automatically
Your IP address and approximate country when you sign up, which we use to spot fraudulent or automated registrations. Standard technical logs from the affiliate portal.
Tax information, only if it applies to you
If you are a US taxpayer and cross the reporting threshold in a calendar year, you will be asked to complete a W-9. That form is collected and stored by Tremendous, not by us. We see whether it has been completed, not the tax identification number itself.
2. Why we use it
- To review your application and decide whether to approve it
- To create your account, referral link, and discount code
- To track the orders you bring in and calculate what you have earned
- To pay you, and to keep the records we are required to keep
- To email you about your account, your commission, and changes to the program
- To detect fraud, coupon leaking, and abuse of the program
If you are in the UK or the EU, our legal basis is performance of a contract with you for the first four, our legitimate interest in running the program safely for fraud detection, and our legal obligation for record keeping. Marketing emails beyond program administration are sent on consent, and you can withdraw that at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other brands.
We do share it with the companies that make the program work:
| Who | What they receive | What for |
|---|---|---|
| GoAffPro | Your account details, link, code, tracked orders, commission | Running the affiliate portal and tracking |
| Tremendous | Your name and email, the reward amount | Sending your cash reward and collecting a W-9 if required |
| Shopify | Your discount code | Applying the discount at checkout |
| Klaviyo | Your name and email | Sending you program emails |
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing what it does with your information. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
4. Cookies and tracking
When someone clicks your referral link, a cookie is placed on their device, not yours. It lasts 30 days and lets us credit a resulting order to you. It records that the visit came from your link. It does not read anything else on their device.
The affiliate portal itself uses cookies to keep you logged in.
We do not see your followers' names, addresses, or contact details, and we do not pass your audience's data to you.
5. Where your information is stored
JoyeeLab LLC is a US company, and our service providers are based in the US and other countries. If you are in the UK or the EU, this means your information is transferred outside your country.
Where such a transfer happens, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
6. How long we keep it
While you are in the program, we keep your account information for as long as your account is open.
After you leave or are declined, we delete your account information within 12 months, except for what we have to keep.
Payment and commission records are kept for seven years, because tax and accounting rules require it. These records contain the amounts paid and the dates, not your payment credentials.
Fraud records, where we have blocked an account for abuse, are kept as long as necessary to stop the same person re-registering.
7. Your rights
Whatever country you are in, you can email collab@joyeenails.com to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your account and the information we are not required to keep
- Ask us to stop sending you program emails
We reply within 30 days and do not charge for this.
If you are in the UK or the EU, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what we collect and why, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
Deleting your account ends your participation in the program. Any unpaid commission is handled under section 11 of the Creator Program Terms.
8. Security
Your account is protected by a password you choose. Access to the admin side of the program is limited to the people who need it.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information and puts you at risk, we will tell you and the relevant authority within the timeframe the law requires.
9. Automated decisions, and selling your data
We don't make automated decisions about you. Every application is reviewed by a person, and every decision about your commission or your account is made by a person.
We don't sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined under the CCPA and similar state laws. Because we don't, there is nothing to opt out of — but if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request anyway.
We don't use your information to train AI models.
10. Under 18s
The Creator Program is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and the information.
11. Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once every 12 months, and update it whenever our practices change.
If we change how we use your information in a way that matters, we will email you before it takes effect. Smaller edits will show in the "last updated" date at the top.
